Beautiful, Natural Himalayan Salt Nightlight for Small Room Ambience and Inobtrusive Light

I have fallen in love with Himalayan salt lamps after learning of them through my oldest daughter who sells them through her custom jewelry store in Johnson City, TN. They are a huge seller for her and many people have them throughout their homes for not just the aesthetic quality they provide but also the air purifying qualities they are most famous for in emission of negative ions into the atmosphere, a process I don’t begin to understand. They are usually hand-carved or natural chunks of Himalayan salt prepared to become lamps and , once heated, begin to emit the negative ions into the air. This is a small, cylindrical-shaped salt rock, hand mined and hand carved. This is a nightlight that is cordless plunging directly into an A/C outlet with a clear nightlight bulb, providing just enough heat source to cause emission of the ions. Mostly, I like them for their inherent beauty. No two are exactly alike though this one is 2 3/4” and 2” in diameter. The clear  light emits a relaxing and tranquil glow. Though this light has many uses for any location needed just to have a soft light to brighten a corner, a small room upon entry after dark , as well as the intended use as a nightlight. I have mine in the master bathroom in my home and will assist my grandsons in seeing his way to the rest room mid-night when he does have to get out of bed to use the bathroom. It is a beautiful small light with an on/off switch directly on the detachable nightlight fixture and the bulb is easily changeable to a colored light or any other not exceeding the wattage this type fixture calls for use in.
