Perfect Grow Light for Hydroponic Indoor Growing

I am a huge fan of tomatoes and while it is now summer time and I can grow my tomatoes outdoors, I am collecting equipment to begin growing hydroponic tomatoes indoors throughout the fall and winter months. I’ve been averse to purchasing tomatoes out of season as hot house tomatoes have, in my opinion, absolutely no flavor. Even the ones that can be purchase still on the vine have very little flavor and are just not appealing and certainly not worth the price. While I don’t intend to invest a lot into this effort, I do plan to grow enough in my home for myself and my family to have to eat when tomatoes are out of season and the only options are hothouse, flavorless fruit. While I may not produce enough to be able to have cooking tomatoes or just enough to enjoy a fresh salad throughout the winter months remains to be seen as this is an undertaking that is all new to me. This 45 watt grow light is my initial investment and will be vital to making this endeavor successful. The make and build of the light is ideal for the amount of space I will need to grow the proper amount of tomatoes for my needs. It has 161 red LED bulbs and 56 blue LED bulbs, and more. While there are other less expensive lights on the market and many that are far more expensive, I feel this is the optimal purchase for my beginner project with the proper variation of lighting to achieve the various stages of germination through fruition the plants will need to grow. It is about a foot long and a foot wide but very slender. It weighs next to nothing so hanging it is simple and not a burden on my ceiling.
