One-Piece Stainless Serrated Bread Knife

If I hadn’t received the knife set I owned and were able, I would replace each and every one with one piece knives. The reasons for doing so are fairly obvious though there are some, I have no doubt, some have never thought of. The biggest and almost equally important and the second is the fact that is a place where bacteria can grow and lurk. Even the most stringent of cleaning will not rid your knives, particularly those with wooden handles from having some bacterial build up in that crevice and further into the handle of the knife itself. Further, it is an excellent point at which a knife will immediately begin, upon use, to weaken having many times seen the attachments from blade to handle loosen and even fall out completely. A one piece design serves to be a sturdier device as well as a far more sanitary one. No amount of bleaching will rid your kitchen utensils of bacteria but rather make the visibility of the bacteria impossible. This knife cut through even the most stubborn of baguettes, French breads, stiffest bagels but when it came to an Italian Hoagie bun, it sliced through like butter, no sawing or tearing. It has no problems with the more uncooperative breads but is almost as if the softer ones aren’t even there. Once used, clean with a soapy dish cloth, dry by hand and store. For longevity and care, it is better not to place this knife into a dishwasher.
